Strategic Plan

Since 2009 ALC has operated under the guidance of its Strategic Plan. The Plan was most recently updated in 2011, and has guided ALC in expanding its educational focus to include new opportunities for student learning.

The Plan will continue to be refined and updated annually by the Board of Directors. Annual operational plans will guide strategic decision making across the schools, departments, and services of ALC.

Our Goal:

To provide and facilitate Lutheran theologically-based educational services across all streams of post-secondary education.

Higher Education Provider

Strengthen and expand ALC’s position as a Higher Education provider

Vocational Training and Education

Provide VET based qualifications

Continuing Education

Increase offerings for life-long learning, accredited and non-accredited

Centre for Theology and Ethics

Open a ‘virtual’ research centre
