Australian Lutheran College Logo
Theology, as praise of the Triune God, is an essential function of the church.
Consequently the Australian Lutheran College is a worshipping community in which theology begins in being served by God, and results in responding in praise.
The Australian Lutheran College logo was designed around a number of
concepts.
- It depicts 3 flames that proclaim our belief in the Triune God - Father, Son and Holy Spirit.
- The cross is central to the logo and forms the visual base in the graphic. It is also firmly grounded within the word Lutheran highlighting this Christian Churches mission.
- It is Australian. The word Australian and the first flame (or gum leaf shape) share the same shade of Eucalyptus green.
- It is a part of the Lutheran Church of Australia. The central flame is the focus on the logo. It links in colour and position to the word Lutheran placed below. These elements share a warm blood orange which also indicated the central focus of Christ in all we undertake.
- It is a College. The last flame and word College share the strong dark blue colour representing that this place is an institution of learning and discovery.
The logo itself shows life and movement, and is meant to reflect what is the central function of the Australian Lutheran College. This college is a worshipping community made up of many people all living, working, praying and praising God together in order to learn more about what it really means to serve God. When you look at this logo please feel inspired as your eyes move around the flames and contemplate what the logo means to you.
