A Lutheran approach to theology

A Lutheran approach to theology

Theology, as praise of the Triune God, is an essential function of the church. Consequently, Australian Lutheran College is a worshipping community in which theology begins in being served by God, and results in responding in praise.

Theology is a gift and task for the whole people of God. Teachers and students of Australian Lutheran College pursue deeper understanding of God's revealed truth for themselves, for the church, and in service to the church.

Theology is for proclamation in context. Programs and subjects take seriously the particular knowledge, attitudes, and skills necessary to function effectively as pastors, teachers, lay workers, and witnesses in secular vocations.
