Eligibility for admission
Admission to Australian Lutheran College undergraduate courses is normally on the basis of successful completion of secondary education to a standard required for admission to tertiary studies. However, students may also be admitted on the basis of appropriate mature age entry requirements. This may include successful performance in appropriate tests or examinations. Further details can be obtained from the Office of Registrar.
Specific entry requirements for particular degrees and awards are included in the information provided in the Course Information section

Pastoral Ministry Program
All applications to enter the Pastoral Ministry Program of Australian Lutheran College are made through the office of the pastoral program administrator.
Prospective students are advised to contact ALC to speak with someone from the pastoral ministry program.
Since the application process involves several steps, it is preferable that application for admission be made as early as possible in the year prior to the year of intended entry. Application for admission should be made no later than mid November. Beyond that date, exceptions will be considered on application to the director of the pastoral ministry program.
The application form gathers vocational information, with an emphasis on personal and family life, employment experience, church background and faith journey, perceived gifts, abilities, and proposed methods of financing study.
With the application form, guidelines will be provided for completing the requirements for admission. These guidelines will give information about letters of reference, academic transcripts, health certificate, photos, police check, taped interview, Taylor-Johnson inventory, and other items of information that are required.
The completed application form with enclosures should be returned to
