Quality assurance

The Australian Lutheran College (ALC) Board of Directors, Academic Board, College Leadership Team, and Staff recognise the importance of ALC’s commitment to quality assurance and continuous improvement. The College aims to meet student, church, internal, organisational and external regulatory requirements within the context of providing excellence in the teaching and learning of theological studies.

Quality at ALC aims to:

  • assist with understanding the ALC planning, monitoring and review processes
  • underpin our approach to work
  • help give structure, consistency and standards to what we do
  • integrate planning and quality assurance

At ALC we:

  • have clearly stated and understood objectives that we genuinely aim to achieve
  • act in ways that demonstrate our aim to achieve our objectives
  • periodically check how close we are to achieving our objectives
  • act on the findings of these checks
