ALC offers a nationally accredited VET course which is an ideal way to deepen your faith and learn practical skills for ministry.

  • Graduates from the qualification are ideally placed to find employment as lay workers, youth workers, chaplains or mission support personnel.
  • Lay workers who achieve the Certificate IV are eligible for accreditation as a lay worker in the Lutheran Church of Australia.
  • Subjects are flexible and designed around your schedule and location, all around Australia.

Course information

From 2017, Australian Lutheran College is a member college of the Australian Centre for Advanced Studies RTO# 50392 that enables us to deliver nationally-accredited vocational education & training courses to our students throughout Australia.

How do I start?

  1. Read the VET Student Handbook
  2. Fill out the application for admission form
  3. Return your form to enrolments@alc.edu.au

What happens next?

Once you’ve received your ‘Confirmation of enrolment’, you will be contacted by one of the VET team who will assist you to form a study plan.

You’ll then be ready to enrol in your subjects.
