Evening classes are non-award courses for people in the wider church community. Classes are presented by ALC teachers and other church members with expertise in a given field. These short courses offer learning beyond the scope of what is normally provided at the parish level.
Evening classes are held on campus and at other suburban locations one night a week generally over four weeks. In addition to the biblical, doctrinal, ethical and historical modules on offer, classes have also focused on issues such as: living with teenagers, caring for people in crisis, common and new forms of worship, ministry to the aged, gospel outreach, introduction to counselling, issues surrounding marriage and family, Bible study preparation, and small groups ministry.
Please refer to Grassroots Training for more information about evening classes.
