Flexible Education - Online

Flexible Education - Online

One of the most exciting developments is the potential offered by the Internet to provide educational services to a wider range of students and in more interesting and flexible ways. These services include library resources, research information, discussion groups, and innovative delivery techniques. Online units are a different and interactive way to learn.

Staff information

The lecturer is profiled in the unit introduction and contacts are given for administrative support.

Units

Using the login and password provided once you've enrolled, you can access the content of your unit here and be guided through your learning. Units are structured into topics or modules.

Assessment

Assessment tasks include essays, reflection papers, case study presentations, units of work etc. The number of tasks varies, depending on the unit, but there are normally four assessment tasks to complete.

Our expectation is that you will contribute to each topic's discussion forum and use the results of the discussions in your assessment tasks.

Each topic is open for 4 weeks during which time you participate - then it is closed and archived.

You can still access the topic for assessment task purposes but can no longer contribute to the forum
