Flexible Education Students - Guide to Library Services

All Flexible Education students are entitled to:

Membership of Löhe Memorial Library (Your student ID card is also a library card)

Reciprocal borrowing rights at ACU Brisbane campus - see below

Loans from the collections

Access to online resources, including databases of full text journal articles
(see Online Resources) - use your library barcode to log in.

Borrowing from Löhe Memorial Library

Check the online catalogue from the library homepage.

Place holds online.

Contact the library by email, phone or fax if you want items posted.

Loan times

The usual loan period is 6 weeks.

High demand items are available for a shorter loan period (usually 2 weeks).

Post

We post up to 5 items at a time at no charge to the student.

Please return items at your own cost, allowing at least 3 working days if returning by post.

Extensions

Extensions may be requested by email, phone, fax or letter.

Fines for late returns will be charged at the rate of 55c per item per day.

Queensland students
The Banyo Library of ACU National, Brisbane, located on the new campus at 1100 Nudgee Road, Banyo, houses the John and Margaret Zweck Memorial Collection.
If you wish to use the Banyo Library, please present your current ALC student ID/Library card at the Brisbane Campus library.
Note: Reciprocal borrowing rights do not include online access to all databases provided by the ACU libraries.
Queensland students who are completing their unit by flexible education will also receive the instructional letter Registering as a borrower at Banyo Library when they enrol in a unit.
