Systematic Theology Workshop - Queensland

The School of Educational Theology will be running a series of workshops from Australian Catholic University's Banyo campus during January and February 2016. The first of these will be held from 11-12 January and the second workshop will be held from 11-12 February. Units covered during the workshops will include: The Christian Faith, Christian Faith in Modern Context and Theological Foundations for Educators. Public lecture by Dr Eric Trozzo

All are invited to attend a lecture by Dr Trozzo entitled, “Self-understanding and identity of Lutheranism in southeast-Asia: Mission in a multi-religious, multi-cultural, and multi-linguistic context.”
The lecture will be held at the college on Wednesday, 14 October at 2pm.

ALC Emeritus Lecturer, Rev Dr Greg Lockwood will deliver the address for the 2015 Fritzsche Oration at Australian Lutheran College (ALC) on Monday, 10 August at 7.30pm. His topic for the evening will be, 'The Silver Years - Australian Lutheran Involvement in PNG Mission 1968-1987'. All are welcome to attend.
The Fritzsche Oration is an initiative of Lutheran Archives and the Australian Lutheran Institute for Theology and Ethics (ALITE), part of Australian Lutheran College (ALC). The oration highlights the contribution of theologians of the Church to the history of Australian Lutheranism. In the early 1840s Gotthard Fritzsche opened a small college in Lobethal SA to provide theological education for pastors and teachers, inspiring generations of theological training in Australia.
