ALITE Assistant Researcher - A challenging employment opportunity

The Australian Lutheran Institute for Theology and Ethics (ALITE) is a research department of Australian Lutheran College (ALC). 

The mission of ALITE is to initiate, support, and promote research projects based in Lutheran theology and ethics, and to assist in their contemporary application within the Lutheran Church of Australia (LCA) and beyond.

ALITE seeks to employ a Research Assistant for a period of six months. This 0.4 FTE position will commence immediately with the possibility of a contract extension into 2016. Remuneration is negotiable, depending upon experience and qualifications, and this position is not limited to any geographical location.

The successful applicant will be required to manage all research data through to report drafting for a research project relating to the state of the pastorate in the LCA. In addition to this, drafting of historical and theological sections to the report will also be required.  Supervision will be provided by the ALITE Director, and other contracted consultants from time to time.

A current knowledge of the Lutheran Church of Australia and its theology is essential for this position.
