Graebner Hall
This building contains most of the single boarding accommodation on campus. Some 73 boarders reside in Graebner Hall, most of them attending universities and other tertiary and post-secondary institutions in Adelaide. Females occupy the two top floors and males the two bottom floors. The rooms contain a large desk area for studying, a large built-in wardrobe and vanity area and are centrally heated. There is also room for a filing cabinet and other necessities. Each floor has 2 kitchenettes, 2 common rooms and 2 bathrooms.
Hamann Hall
Hamann Hall houses 17 single boarding students. The facilities are similar to those in Graebner Hall.
Melrose House
Melrose House houses 10 single boarding students. The facilities are similar to those in Graebner Hall with the addition of individual air-conditioning units for each room.
Student Centre
The student centre was built in 1991 and is used mainly by the boarding students on campus for general recreation purposes. The centre is also used for college functions as well as meetings of the wives of students studying with the School of Pastoral Ministry. The amenities in the student centre include pool tables, table tennis, piano, television, magazine reading area and kitchen facilities. The ALC Residents’ Association [ALCRA] is responsible for the running of the student centre.
Refectory
The refectory provides meals for single students on campus as well as catering for various functions held during the year.
Sports facilities
Located across from the student centre is a squash court. This also contains a small weights room and shower and changing facilities. A tennis court (which may also be used for volley ball, netball and racquetball) is also available.
ICT facilities
ICT facilities are provided to residents as a study tool. See ALC Residents ICT Acceptable Use Policy & Procedures [PDF].
