Opening lectures
The ALC opening lecture [formerly inaugural lecture] marks the beginning of each academic year. Open to the general public, this lecture provides ALC teaching staff with an opportunity to present information on a topic arising from their current or recent research.
As well as being made available on the ALC website, opening lectures are usually published in the Lutheran Theological Journal within the year they are presented.
