About graduation
ALC holds an annual graduation ceremony in Adelaide at the end of the academic year. Conferral of an award is subject to satisfactory course completion by the specified date and contingent upon payment of all outstanding fees.
Actual graduation ceremony and thanksgiving service dates are published in the academic calendar [see ALC Calendars and timetables] and pertinent information updated annually.
Students unable to attend the graduation ceremony are awarded their qualification in absentia.

Thanksgiving service information [Qld]
For many students and their families distance prevents them from attending the Adelaide graduation ceremony. So, as a further celebration of graduation [for course graduates] and approved certificates [for vocational certificate recipients], a thanksgiving service with presentation of awards and certificates is held each year in Queensland in the following April or May.
For graduates:
In late April/early May each year all ALC graduates are invited to participate in the Australian Graduate Survey [AGS]. This national survey, coordinated by Graduate Careers Australia [GCA] together with participating higher education institutions, is designed to collect information about the experience of each student during their course and the type of work or further study being undertaken after completing a course.
ALC Principal John Henderson writes: ‘ALC is a learning community that wants and needs to change as it listens to the voices of students, including those who have graduated. By responding to our graduate survey you help us to design courses for the future, and to equip people for service in the church and the world in the name of Jesus’.
