Position: Quality Information & Web Administrator [0.6 FTE]Australian Lutheran College [ALC] prepares people theologically and vocationally for service in the church and through the church to the world.
Applications are invited for the position of Quality Information & Web Administrator with ALC, the Higher Education Provider of the Lutheran Church of Australia [LCA].
Your challenge as Quality Information & Web Administrator is to be responsible for overseeing the ALC quality electronic information system and website, with back up to the Information Technology Officer in support of the LCA network. Situated within the Office of the Executive Dean; this position monitors, implements, converts, places and tracks organisational electronic documents; oversees electronic survey and reporting and website development as directed, and provides back up services and advice in an effective and timely manner.
ALC observes and applies Occupational Health and Safety [OHS], Equal Employment Opportunity [EEO], and Quality Assurance policies and procedures, and maintains a student-centred approach. Qualifications:
Nationally accredited Certificate or Diploma level qualification or equivalent, and education/training and completion of Year 12; may require further on-the-job training or knowledge and training equivalent to progress toward completion of an advanced certificate or associate diploma. Knowledge and/or relevant experience in electronic document system management and web publishing, HTML, database design websites in Access and or SQL, electronic survey instruments and reports, and complex Microsoft Active Directory LAN.
Desirable:
Some knowledge of the higher education and theological college sector or willingness to learn rapidly.

The successful applicant will be willing to work in an environment of the Lutheran Church and actively demonstrate empathy and understanding for the needs of the Church and its community.
