Who am I?

I was born in Brisbane, moving to the beautiful Lockyer Valley at age 10, and continue living there today. I am married with four children (now adults) and love spending time with family. My passion for working with children began in my teenage years and developed through supporting Children’s Ministry in our church. This led me to Primary Teaching and for 29 years I taught in both State and Lutheran Schools. Lutheran Education Queensland provided an opportunity to pursue my passion for teaching and leading Christian Studies through a secondment to support Christian Studies in Queensland Lutheran Schools as well as facilitating EQUIP training for teachers of Christian Studies. This in turn led me to ALC, allowing me to continue working with teachers of Christian Studies while I follow God’s call on my life.
