ALC is well situated in Adelaide, the capital city of South Australia. Founded in the 1830s, and with a population of over one million, Adelaide offers students and visitors a wealth of opportunities and experiences.

Adelaide locations within a 20-minute walk include Adelaide Oval, Rundle Mall, the Art Gallery of South Australia, and the South Australian Museum.

Church offices and agencies either adjoin the campus or are a minute or two away. These include the Lutheran Church of Australia (LCA) Churchwide Office, the Lutheran Laypeople's League, and the offices of the South Australia/Northern Territory District of the LCA.
