About Education at ALC

Higher education

Higher education awards in theology challenge students to think critically about life and faith in the light of biblical and church teaching.

Course accreditation

ALC delivers higher education awards through the University of Divinity (UD) as part of a unique collegiate university.

The University of Divinity is a Specialised University accredited by the Tertiary Education Quality and Standards Agency (TEQSA) to teach courses in Philosophy and Religious Studies.

Delivering accredited higher education ensures our teaching and learning remains at a high standard, comparable with other tertiary institutions world-wide.

Being part of a collegiate University means that ALC can continue to offer courses within our distinctive Lutheran tradition as well as access a wider range of resources and services than we could manage alone.
