Kerrin Huth installed as ALC’s newest lecturer
26 April 2017
On Sunday 23 April 2017 Kerrin Huth was officially installed as ALC’s new Lecturer in Educational Theology. The installation took place at Kerrin’s home congregation of Peace Lutheran Church Gatton, and it was led by Kerrin’s own pastor, James Haak, on behalf of the Bishop of the Church. ALC Principal, James Winderlich, along with Kerrin’s Queensland teaching colleague, Andrew Jaensch, attended the installation and both welcomed Kerrin to ALC’s vibrant learning and teaching team. In a written greeting, Dr Merryn Ruwoldt, the head of ALC’s School of Educational Theology, wrote:
John Quincy Adams is credited with saying, ‘If your actions inspire others to dream more, learn more, do more and become more, you are a leader.’ Hence we wish you God’s every blessing as you fulfil your leadership role within the ALC community.
Welcome, Kerrin. We honour your call from God to teach, and we give thanks for the gifts that you bring to our learning community.
L-R: Rev Andrew Jaensch, Mrs Kerrin Huth, Rev James Haak, Rev James Winderlich
