Annual Appeal

The ALC Annual Appeal gives ALC an opportunity to share what we are doing at ALC with the LCA and beyond and lets you know how you can contribute towards our work.

The appeal is usually launched in May or June each year.

ALC students: life-long learning

A Christian is surely a student, who has begun to learn in the mother’s womb, and who learns for all eternity—
Martin Luther, WA 32:136, 3–5.

In this year’s appeal letter ALC's Principal, Pastor James Winderlich, focuses on life-long learning.

Life-long learning seeds, supports and advances our church’s vision to 'Go and Grow'. The Lutheran Church, together with the Christian Church of every time and every place, is called to be a listening and learning community. Learning belongs to our identity. Jesus said:

Go therefore and make disciples of all nations, baptising them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, and teaching them to obey everything that I have commanded you. Matthew 28:19–20, NRSV
